In the past weeks, the MSTVision team worked on an extensive latency evaluation of our FPGA high speed sorting system. Our system is known to provide low latencies and high data throughput. For a scientifically prove, we carried out many repeated experiments to assess the specifications of our system. Every single element of the chain was asessed: Camera, FPGA image processing, valve controller, valve current and voltage, valve pressure and object movement.
Timing assesements like these provide us deep insights of our system which allows to work out optimization possibilities to provide you a even better product.
