MultiChannel

MultiChannel makes it possible to record an object, e.g. sheet material, with several lighting setups in just one scan with a monochrome line scan camera. The lighting is synchronised with the camera exposure through time multiplexing. A total of eight lighting signals are available, which can be distributed to up to eight image channels as required. Each image channel can be freely configured up to the maximum speed of the camera. This means that each channel can work with an individual exposure time. In contrast to many other applications where the slowest clock determines the line frequency, MultiChannel allows the recording speed to be significantly optimised…

Photometric Stereo Line Scan Solution

The PS Line Scan Solution combines the strengths of photometric stereo with the speed and efficiency of line scan imaging. At its core, the system uses FPGA-based processing to calculate photometric stereo data directly on the framegrabber, ensuring maximum performance even in high-speed production environments.

Photometric Stereo Line Light

The modular PS Line Light was developed specifically for photometric stereo applications with line scan cameras. Integrated drivers enable control of the four inclined lighting directions in less than 1 µs. Thanks to focused high-power LEDs, up to 6 kW/m² is achieved in a compact design with a working range of 40–60 mm.

Photometric Stereo Advanced

PS Advanced is an integrated system solution for providing four matrix camera images directly as photometric stereo output images, including a calculated height map. Efficient processing on the GPU minimizes CPU load, and the GenICam implementation allows easy access to image data without a proprietary image processing library.

Sorting

MSTVision sorting technology enables the construction or retrofitting of sorting machines with a high degree of customization, allowing the classification of objects based on color/spectra, size or shape. Our FPGA-based image and signal processing enables very low latency and high throughput. The same FPGA controls both the cameras and the ejectors, resulting in extremely fast response times, energy efficiency and reliability.

Camera Mount Line

The Camera Mount Line (CML) enables simple and precise alignment and positioning of line scan cameras. By replacing the mounting ring, a wide variety of different line scan cameras can be mounted. The camera can be aligned around the X and Y axes (transport direction) as well as around the Z axis (optical axis). The rotation around the optical axis in particular makes this product unique and greatly facilitates alignment.
